Premier Leisure was founded by Hiten Patel and Manish Patel in 2018, we have over 30 years of experience in all aspect of the travel industry. Our core belief is putting our clients first. All our suppliers and partners are vetted and scrutinised to ensure we provide our clients with the peace of mind one would expect when making a travel booking.
We choose our partners meticulously to ensure the quality and services is of the highest standard. We only work with very well-established partners and offer a high standard of service and protection to all our customers. All our partners are ATOL or ABTA protected, and where we package together a flight with accommodation, we will have the relevant ABTA protection under the TTA to ensure you are fully protected.
We have chosen to work under the umbrella of The Travel Network Group and our Membership Number is TTAQ6238 (Travel Trust Association) and we have been members since the starting of our business in February 2018. While all our suppliers offer ATOL and ABTA protection, our clients have the additional protection that comes with us being TTA members, which offers additional protection and greater security for all our client bookings. Who & What is TTA?
The Travel Trust Association (TTA) The Travel Trust Association falls under the umbrella of the The Travel Network Group and is a travel trade association. All members consist of travel agents, tour operators and travel organisers. The Travel Trust Association exists in order to protect you, the customer, with 100% financial protection and has been doing so for over 20 years. This means that every penny you pay is protected by the Travel Trust Association
How does the Travel Trust Association Provide 100% financial protection for you?
You can book your holiday secure in the knowledge that Travel Trust Association will protect you in the unlikely event of a member becoming insolvent and not limited to a packaged holiday.
Your deposits and any other payments are paid directly into a Trust Account, whether you pay by bank transfer or Credit/Debit card. A Trust Account is a bank account designated to hold your money. Your money remains in the Trust Account and is supervised by an appointed trustee who is either a banker, chartered or certified accountant or a solicitor. Both the Travel Trust Association members and the trustees are required to authorise payments from the trust account.
In addition to being held in trust, you also have a financial guarantee from the Travel Trust Association. TTA will guarantee the financial obligation of its members up to a maximum of any one passenger of £11,000. So, if you paid £2,000, we guarantee we will reimburse the loss of the £2,000 where it is not available for you from the Trust Account.
Therefore, the Trust Account plus the guarantee will ensure that all the money which you have paid is safely protected and available to reimburse the money paid. When you make a booking, you will be supplied with a guarantee certificate.
Should the TTA member become insolvent, in most instances your money will still be held within the TTA member’s Trust Account by the designated Trustee, and available to pay for your holiday. If for any reason the money is not available in the trust account, then the guarantee is available to reimburse your loss. In some cases, your holiday may continue as the providers or suppliers have already been paid. Where you have only paid a deposit and still have an outstanding balance, your holiday may be unaffected and by paying the balance, your holiday will continue as planned.
ATOL (Air Travel Organiser’s Licence) this is basically your protection against your travel provider in the unlikely event they cease trading. The protection is largely against packaged holidays and only in some instances flight only. A package is:
- Flight + Accommodation (including a cruise), or
- Flight + Car Hire + any other element , or
- Flight + Accommodation + Car Hire
Your Financial Protection. When you buy an ATOL protected flight or flight inclusive package from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.
We, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL Certificate, will provide you with the services listed on the ATOL Certificate (or a suitable alternative). In some cases, where neither we nor the supplier are able to do so for reasons of insolvency, an alternative ATOL holder may provide you with the services you have bought or a suitable alternative (at no extra cost to you). You agree to accept that in those circumstances the alternative ATOL holder will perform those obligations and you agree to pay any money outstanding to be paid by you under your contract to that alternative ATOL holder. However, you also agree that in some cases it will not be possible to appoint an alternative ATOL holder, in which case you will be entitled to make a claim under the ATOL scheme (or your credit card issuer where applicable).
Do you need to take Travel Insurance
Quite simply YES. While your travel booking will be protected by one of or all of the above, they do not protect you against any other unforeseen circumstances. This is why we believe it is vital that you take out a separate travel insurance to cover you for other unpredictable situations. The following list is most of what you should expect with Travel Insurance and in many cases much more will be covered (this will always depend on the policy you take out):
